Below are the first pictures of the horses for a new year.
This afternoon offered a variety of different lighting and background
oppruntuties as the air turned from slightly overcast mid-afternoon, to scattered
showers, and then finally settled into a mostly clear sky into twilight. The
combination of the vivid
sun through a opaque sky makes a few of these photos look like they were shot
on some far away planet.
